Lamborghini has unveiled its latest offering, the Urus SE, in India, with a price tag of Rs. 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). This plug-in hybrid variant replaces the previous Performante and S models, bringing a new level of performance and luxury to the Urus lineup.
A Powerful Hybrid
At the heart of the Urus SE lies a potent combination of a 4.0-litre V8 engine and an electric motor. Together, they deliver an impressive 800 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque, propelling the SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and onto a top speed of 312 km/h. The electric motor, coupled with a 25.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, provides an electric-only range of 60 km, suitable for urban driving.
Enhanced Driving Dynamics
To complement the powerful performance, the Urus SE boasts an array of driving modes. In addition to the familiar Strada, Sport, Corsa, Neve, Sabbia, and Terra settings, the SUV offers EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge, and Performance modes. The latter, in particular, is designed to optimize performance both on and off-road.
Advanced suspension, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, and revised electronics further enhance the Urus SE’s driving dynamics, ensuring exceptional handling and control.
A Refined Exterior and Interior
While the overall silhouette remains unmistakably Urus, the SE variant features subtle yet significant design updates. A new bonnet, slimmer LED headlights with a distinct signature, and a redesigned front grille give the SUV a sharper, more aggressive appearance. At the rear, a revised spoiler, tailgate, and diffuser complete the sporty look.
Inside the cabin, the Urus SE offers a refined and luxurious ambiance. A new 12.3-inch touchscreen takes center stage, featuring the latest software and user interface. The dashboard and seats have also been updated for a more modern feel. Lamborghini’s renowned customization options are available, allowing owners to create truly unique vehicles.
The Lamborghini Urus SE represents a significant step forward for the brand’s performance SUV. With its powerful hybrid powertrain, advanced technology, and striking design, it sets a new benchmark in the luxury SUV segment.
