Yamaha has given its popular R15 and R15M motorcycles a visual refresh for the Indonesian market. While the core mechanics remain unchanged, the introduction of new color options aims to keep these sporty bikes fresh and appealing to consumers.
New Color Options
The Yamaha R15 now comes in three new colors: Tech Black, Icon Blue, and Aggressive Grey. The R15M, on the other hand, gets a single new color option called Icon Performance. These new color schemes are expected to add a modern touch to the already stylish motorcycles.
No Mechanical Changes
It’s important to note that Yamaha has not made any alterations to the engine, chassis, or features of either the R15 or R15M. Both motorcycles continue to be powered by the same 155cc liquid-cooled engine, producing 18.4hp and 14.2Nm of torque.
A Strong Contender
The Yamaha R15 and R15M have established themselves as strong contenders in the premium 150cc motorcycle segment. With the introduction of new color options, Yamaha aims to maintain the bikes’ appeal and attract new customers.
Given the popularity of the R15 and R15M in India, it is highly likely that these new color schemes will be introduced in the Indian market as well. This would provide customers with more options to choose from and keep the models fresh in the eyes of buyers.
