The all-new 2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to launch in India on November 11, 2024, bringing significant upgrades in design, features, and performance. Inspired by the latest Swift, the revamped Dzire will sport a more modern and stylish look, highlighted by a range of exterior updates. Spy images of the production model have emerged, showing the car reaching dealership yards, offering a first glimpse at its polished new look.
The redesigned Dzire will feature a more refined exterior with a sleeker profile. Updates include a reimagined front grille, updated bumpers on both ends, and sharper LED headlights with newly integrated LED Daytime Running Lights. Additional enhancements like the redefined alloy wheels, reshaped bonnet, and refreshed tailgate all contribute to its fresh, contemporary look.
Inside, the new Dzire promises a tech-savvy, comfortable experience. It will come equipped with a floating nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with a larger multi-information display. The triple-tone dashboard will feature faux wood accents, along with redesigned AC vents. Notably, it will be the first compact sedan in its segment to offer an electric sunroof, and it includes a new three-spoke steering wheel.
Powering the 2025 Dzire is Maruti’s new 1.2L three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine, delivering 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque. Buyers will have the option of a five-speed manual or AMT gearbox, and a CNG variant will also be available. This updated Dzire will go head-to-head with competitors like the Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.
In terms of features, the Dzire will come loaded with amenities, including automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera system, a USB Type-C charging port, six standard airbags, and cruise control. Pricing for the current model ranges from Rs. 6.56 lakh to Rs. 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom), with a slight increase expected for the new version.
Maruti Suzuki is also anticipated to introduce fresh color options and a wider range of variants to attract a larger customer base. With the new Honda Amaze set to launch soon as well, the competition in the compact sedan segment is sure to intensify.
