
Hyundai Staria showcased at Auto Expo 2025

At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Hyundai unveiled the Staria, marking its debut in the Indian market. This luxury Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV), introduced globally in 2021, is designed to cater to large families and offers seating configurations accommodating up to 11 passengers.
Design
The Hyundai Staria stands out with its unique design language. Key features include a futuristic front end with a sloping nose, a distinctive rectangular grille, and vertically stacked headlights. The side profile is characterized by its streamlined shape with 18-inch dual tone alloy wheels and convenient sliding doors. The rear design is clean and modern, highlighted by striking LED taillights with pixelated lighting elements.

If introduced in India, the Hyundai Staria is projected to occupy the premium MPV segment, with an estimated price range of around ₹60 lakh (ex-showroom). Its primary competitor would be the Kia Carnival. However, Hyundai has yet to officially confirm the Staria’s launch in the Indian market.
