Mahindra has announced some exciting news for Mahindra Scorpio N SUV fans. The company has added new features to the top three trims of the SUV – Z8 Select, Z8, and Z8 L – at no extra cost!
More Tech and Comfort for Z8 Select and Z8
The recently launched Z8 Select and the higher Z8 trim now boast a wireless charger for your devices and a new high-gloss finish for a more upscale look in the center console.
Top-of-the-Line Z8 L Gets Even More Luxurious
The range-topping Z8 L gets the most feature upgrades. Drivers will enjoy ventilated front seats to keep cool on hot days, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror for improved night-time visibility. The wireless charging pad in the Z8 L also gets active cooling to ensure your phone stays healthy while juicing up. Of course, it shares the new high-gloss center console finish with the other two upgraded trims.
Midnight Black Now Available on All Z8 Trims
Previously, the Midnight Black paint color was exclusive to the Z8 Select trim. Mahindra has listened to customer feedback and is now offering this stylish color option on all Z8 trims.
New Features Without the Price Bump
These exciting new features come at no extra cost! The Z8 Select range starts at Rs 17.10 lakh, the Z8 begins at Rs 18.74 lakh, and the Z8 L is priced from Rs 20.37 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It’s worth noting that Mahindra recently increased prices across the Scorpio N range by around Rs 10,000, but these upgrades seem to offset that increase for these top trims.
Standard Features Remain Unchanged
Other than the additions mentioned above, the Scorpio N’s equipment list remains unchanged. The top-spec Z8 L still features a good set of standard features, including 6 airbags, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a powered driver’s seat, a sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, a Sony audio system, front and rear cameras, and a driver drowsiness detection system.
Engine and Transmission Options
The Mahindra Scorpio N offers two engine choices: a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-liter diesel engine. Both engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. However, the 4WD option is only available with the diesel engine.
