Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Spied Testing

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift Spotted Testing — Triple Screens & Refined Styling Incoming
Mahindra’s flagship 7-seater, the XUV700, has been caught on camera flaunting heavy camouflage—revealing a much-anticipated facelift expected to debut in early 2026. Unlike previous highlights, this facelift aims to offer refined styling and a significant tech upgrade, while keeping the mechanics largely unchanged.
🎨 Exterior Tweaks with Subtle Visual Refresh
- New front fascia: Spy mules reveal a redesigned grille featuring slanted vertical slats, alongside reshaped bumpers and lower air intake. The current fog lamps appear hidden or possibly removedr.
- Headlights under wraps: Circular projector lamps—likely borrowed from the Thar Roxx—are understood to be temporary placeholders. Production models will sport sharper LED units.
- Unchanged side and rear profiles: The camouflage suggests the roofline, alloy design, and tail lights remain the same—for now at least.
💻 Major Cabin Upgrade: Triple-Screen Dashboard
The most striking update is the new three-screen layout on the dashboard—likely comprising:
- 10.2″ central touchscreen
- Same-sized digital driver display
- A slim passenger-side screen—similar to the XEV 9e EV concept.
This setup brings the cabin closer to luxurious rivals like the Tata Sierra, with a richer visual interface.
🛋️ Comfort & Connectivity Boosts
Expect a suite of finer features, such as:
- ADAS Level 2 enhancements (self-park, digital key)
- Ventilated seats front and rear
- Rear sun blinds and possibly powered ottoman seating
- Premium Harman audio with Dolby support, auto-dimming IRVM.
⚙️ Powertrain Left Unchanged
No changes expected under the hood—Mahindra is likely to retain the 2.0 L turbo-petrol (around 197 bhp/380 Nm) and 2.2 L diesel (≈182 bhp/450 Nm), with both 6-speed manual and automatic options, and AWD on select trims.
📅 Launch & Outlook
The facelifted XUV700 (possibly rebranded as XUV 7XO) is expected to launch during the early 2026 window, as Mahindra aligns older models with their new EV-centric naming strategy.
