Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 Celebration Edition Launched at ₹1.3 Crore: Exclusive, Elegant, and Electric

Mercedes-Benz India has unveiled a special treat for electric luxury car enthusiasts — the EQS 580 Celebration Edition. Priced at ₹1.3 crore (ex-showroom), this limited-run version of the brand’s flagship electric sedan adds an extra layer of exclusivity to an already high-tech, high-luxury package.

Celebrating Growth in Style

This special edition marks a major milestone for Mercedes-Benz’s electric journey in India. The company has seen a remarkable 73% growth in EV sales year-on-year, and to celebrate this success, only 50 units of the Celebration Edition will be produced, making it a true collector’s item for EV enthusiasts.

What Makes the Celebration Edition Stand Out?

While the mechanicals remain unchanged from the standard EQS 580, the Celebration Edition adds bespoke touches that elevate its exclusivity:

  • Limited to just 50 units, making each one truly special
  • Unique exterior detailing and special badging
  • Offered through online bookings and dealerships, with deliveries starting soon

Still the Most Advanced Electric Sedan from Mercedes

Underneath its exclusive cosmetic changes, the Celebration Edition continues to deliver the same exceptional performance that makes the EQS 580 one of the most impressive electric cars on Indian roads:

  • Dual-motor AWD setup producing 523 hp and 855 Nm of torque
  • 107.8 kWh battery offering an ARAI-certified range of up to 809 km
  • 0-100 km/h in 4.3 seconds, top speed electronically limited to 210 km/h
  • Supports 200 kW DC fast charging, adding up to 300 km of range in just 15 minutes

The Usual Mercedes Luxury — With a Futuristic Twist

Inside, the EQS 580 remains every bit the technological masterpiece, featuring:

  • Hyperscreen display with seamless integration of three massive screens
  • Burmester 3D surround sound system
  • Rear-axle steering for effortless manoeuvrability
  • Full suite of safety features, including nine airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and multiple comfort functions
  • Panoramic sunroof and luxury materials throughout the cabin

Made in India, for India

The EQS 580 is locally assembled at Mercedes-Benz’s Chakan plant near Pune, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to the Indian market. It’s not just a luxury import—it’s proudly produced in India, joining other EVs in Mercedes’ growing local portfolio like the EQB, EQE SUV, and EQS Maybach.
