BMW India has announced the launch of the fourth-generation X3 at the Auto Expo 2025. The petrol variant is priced at Rs 75.80 lakh, while the diesel is priced at Rs 77.80 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Bookings are now open, and deliveries are expected to begin in April.

Inside, the X3 offers electrically adjustable, heated, and ventilated sport seats with three upholstery options. The dashboard can be optionally draped in recyclable polyester cloth. Ambient LED lighting forms U-shaped patterns across the cabin, customizable through three My Modes: Personal, Sport, and Efficient. A curved panoramic display integrates a 14.9-inch infotainment screen with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, running on BMW Operating System 9. Additional features include a 15-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, wireless phone charging, cruise control, a panoramic sunroof, and tri-zone climate control.

Powering the India-spec BMW X3 are two 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engines: a 190 PS petrol and a 197 PS diesel. All variants feature an 8-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and 48V mild-hybrid assistance for enhanced efficiency and performance, with a top speed of 215 kmph across all powertrains.

The fourth-generation X3 has grown slightly in size, now measuring 4,755mm long (34mm longer) and 1,920mm wide (29mm wider). It sits 25mm lower at 1,660mm in height, while maintaining the same 2,865mm wheelbase. The new X3 also incorporates BMW’s latest design language, featuring sharper lines and more sculpted surfaces.
