2025 Honda Shine 125 Launched In India
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the 2025 Honda SP125, featuring several updates to make it more competitive in the 125cc commuter bike segment. The new model is available in two variants: the drum brake version priced at ₹91,771 and the disc brake version at ₹1,00,284 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
Design and Features
The updated SP125 retains its stylish and sporty look while incorporating some key enhancements:
- LED Lighting: The motorcycle now comes with LED headlamps and taillights, improving both visibility and aesthetics.
- Digital Console: A new 4.2-inch TFT display has been added, offering Bluetooth connectivity. This system is compatible with Honda’s RoadSync app, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, call and message alerts, and voice assistance.
- USB Charging: The inclusion of a USB Type-C port allows riders to charge their devices while on the go.
- New Graphics: The side panels, fuel tank, and headlight cowl now feature fresh graphics, giving the bike a more modern look.
Honda is offering the 2025 SP125 in five color choices: Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Imperial Red Metallic, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic.
Engine and Performance
The motorcycle is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that meets the latest OBD2B (On-Board Diagnostics Version 2) emission regulations, which will be mandatory from April 1, 2025. Despite these updates, the engine continues to deliver 10.8 PS of power and 10.9 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. To enhance fuel efficiency, the bike is also equipped with an idling stop system.

The new Honda SP125 is available in two variants:
