The much-anticipated Ather Rizta has been unveiled with introductory prices starting at Rs 1.10 lakh and going up to Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). This scooter is positioned as a practical and affordable option compared to Ather’s sportier 450 range, offering novel features such as traction control and a spacious storage capacity of 56 liters.
Battery Options and Availability:
Customers can choose between two battery pack options: 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh. The introductory prices are in effect, and deliveries are set to commence in July.

The Ather Rizta is the first Indian electric scooter to incorporate traction control, enhancing safety and stability during rides. Weighing 119kg, the Rizta is relatively light in the practical e-scooter segment, offering a manageable seat height of 780mm and a ground clearance of 165mm. It is available in two variants: S and Z, with the latter offering both battery capacities.

The 2.9kWh pack variant of the Rizta offers a claimed range of 123km, while the 3.7kWh variant extends this to 160km. Both variants have a top speed of 80kph.

The scooter features ample storage space with a 34-litre underseat compartment and a 22-litre front storage (‘frunk’), totaling 56 litres. Ather also offers accessories like the Organiser for added convenience.
