HTK (O) Variant: Introducing Panoramic Sunroof
The HTK (O) variant stands out by offering a panoramic sunroof, a feature typically reserved for higher trims, thus enhancing its value proposition. It also includes 16-inch alloy wheels, a rear wiper with washer and defogger, cruise control for added driving convenience, and a smart key system. This variant is available with both petrol and diesel engines, mated to a manual gearbox.

- HTK (O) Diesel MT: Rs 14.56 lakh
HTK+ (O) Variant: Premium Additions
The HTK+ (O) variant elevates the Seltos experience with 17-inch alloy wheels and, in the automatic IVT version, an electronic parking brake. The exterior is enhanced with LED fog lamps, LED headlamps featuring sequential turn indicators, a gloss black grille, auto-folding ORVMs, and chrome accents for a premium look. This variant offers both manual and automatic transmission options across petrol and diesel engines.

Powertrain Options
The Seltos continues with its existing engine lineup:
- 1.5-litre Naturally-Aspirated Petrol: 115 PS and 144 Nm, available with a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
- 1.5-litre Diesel: 116 PS and 250 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
Higher-spec trims also offer a 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine for those seeking enhanced performance.
Market Position
With these updates, the Kia Seltos strengthens its position in the compact SUV segment, competing against models like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, and VW Taigun. By incorporating premium features into lower-spec variants, Kia aims to attract a broader spectrum of buyers seeking value and sophistication.
These strategic enhancements reflect Kia’s commitment to delivering feature-rich vehicles that cater to diverse customer preferences in the competitive Indian automotive market.
