2025 KTM Adventure 390 Range Unveiled In India
KTM has expanded its 390 Adventure lineup for 2025 with the introduction of two new models: the 390 Adventure R and the 390 Adventure X. These additions cater to riders seeking varying levels of off-road capability and on-road comfort.
2025 KTM ADVENTURE 390 R
The KTM 390 Adventure R is built for off-road riding. It has strong suspension with lots of travel, spoked wheels (21-inch front, 18-inch rear), and a tall seat (870mm). It also features a 5-inch screen, cornering ABS, and traction control. The 390 Adventure R has an inverted telescopic fork with compression and rebound adjustability, and a preload & rebound adjustable monoshock with 200mm suspension travel at both ends. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends mounted tubeless spoke wheels. The motorcycle has a ground clearance of 272mm and a seat height of 870mm. It has a 14-litre fuel tank and weighs in at 165kg(without Fuel).
The 390 Adventure has a fresh, Dakar Rally-inspired look and comes in white or orange. It uses the same engine as the latest 390 Duke, producing 44.86PS and 39Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox that includes a slipper clutch and a two-way quickshifter.
2025 KTM ADVENTURE 390 X
The KTM 390 Adventure X is designed to be easier to ride and more focused on road use. It uses the same engine as the R model but has different parts. The suspension isn’t as fancy (non-adjustable front fork with 200mm travel, adjustable rear shock), and it has alloy wheels (19-inch front, 17-inch rear) with tubeless tires. The seat is lower 825mm, making it easier to reach the ground. It also has a simpler screen and doesn’t have cornering ABS to make it less expensive.
On the features front, the 390 Adventure X gets an TFT instrument cluster as well which supports smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and allows for call & SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The 390 ADV X gets dual-channel ABS which is switchable for the rear wheel and an offroad mode which also switches off traction control.
