2025 TVS Ronin Launched In India

TVS Motor Company has introduced the 2025 iteration of its Ronin motorcycle in India, enhancing its appeal with new color options and safety features. The mid-spec variant, priced at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), now comes equipped with dual-channel ABS, addressing previous safety concerns.

New Features and Design Enhancements

The 2025 TVS Ronin introduces two fresh color schemes: Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember. These dual-tone options replace the earlier Delta Blue and Stargaze Black, offering a modern and vibrant aesthetic. The Charcoal Ember variant, in particular, stands out with its dynamic blue accents on the tank, side panels, and tail section. Complementing these new colors are color-coded rim stickers on the alloy wheels, adding to the motorcycle’s visual appeal. The design retains its signature elements, including the golden USD front forks and a distinctive LED headlamp with a blacked-out nacelle.

Safety and Performance Upgrades

A significant update for 2025 is the inclusion of dual-channel ABS starting from the mid-spec (DS) variant, enhancing rider safety during sudden braking scenarios. This addition comes with a modest price increase of Rs 2,300 over the previous model, positioning the DS variant as a compelling choice for riders prioritizing safety without the need for advanced connectivity features.

Mechanically, the Ronin remains consistent with its predecessor. It is powered by a 225.9cc single-cylinder, air-and-oil-cooled engine that delivers 20.4PS at 7750rpm and 19.93Nm at 3750rpm. This engine setup is designed for robust low and mid-range performance, suitable for urban commuting and leisurely rides. The motorcycle features a 41mm USD front fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, ensuring a balanced and comfortable ride. Braking duties are managed by a 300mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, now enhanced with the dual-channel ABS system.

Variants and Pricing

The TVS Ronin is available in multiple variants to cater to diverse rider preferences:

• SS Variant: Priced at Rs 1,35,000, this base model offers single-channel ABS and is available in select color options.
• DS Variant: At Rs 1,59,000, the mid-spec model now includes dual-channel ABS and introduces the new Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember color schemes.
• TD Variant: The top-tier variant, priced at Rs 1,68,950, comes equipped with advanced features such as smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, and call alerts.
• TD Special Edition: This exclusive model is available at Rs 1,72,700, offering unique aesthetic enhancements and premium features.
