Ather Rizta launched at Rs 1.10 lakh

The much-anticipated Ather Rizta has been unveiled with introductory prices starting at Rs 1.10 lakh and going up to Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). This scooter is positioned as a practical and affordable option compared to Ather’s sportier 450 range, offering novel features such as traction control and a spacious storage capacity of 56 liters.

Battery Options and Availability:
Customers can choose between two battery pack options: 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh. The introductory prices are in effect, and deliveries are set to commence in July.

Unique Features of Ather Rizta:
The Ather Rizta is the first Indian electric scooter to incorporate traction control, enhancing safety and stability during rides. It boasts a range of comfort and convenience features, including a redesigned frame for improved usability and maneuverability, a comfortable long seat for two adults, and a sleek design with integrated LED lighting.

Specifications and Variants:
Weighing 119kg, the Rizta is relatively light in the practical e-scooter segment, offering a manageable seat height of 780mm and a ground clearance of 165mm. It is available in two variants: S and Z, with the latter offering both battery capacities.

Performance and Range:
The 2.9kWh pack variant of the Rizta offers a claimed range of 123km, while the 3.7kWh variant extends this to 160km. Both variants have a top speed of 80kph.

Storage and Accessories:
The scooter features ample storage space with a 34-litre underseat compartment and a 22-litre front storage (‘frunk’), totaling 56 litres. Ather also offers accessories like the Organiser for added convenience.

Technological Advancements:
The Rizta comes equipped with a traction control system, riding modes (Zip and SmartEco), and features like reverse, hill-hold, and Magic Twist for enhanced functionality.

Price, Booking, and Deliveries:
Bookings are open at authorized Ather dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to start in July. The introductory prices are Rs 1.10 lakh for the S variant, Rs 1.25 lakh for the 2.9kWh Z variant, and Rs 1.45 lakh for the 3.7kWh Z variant, making it an attractive offering in the electric scooter market.
