BMW CONCEPT F 450 GS Launch Confirmed

BMW Motorrad has officially confirmed the global debut of the production-ready BMW F 450 GS adventure motorcycle by the end of 2025, with the unveiling expected at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. Following its debut, pricing details and deliveries are anticipated to commence in early 2026.
The F 450 GS concept, showcased at EICMA 2024, draws design inspiration from its larger sibling, the R 1300 GS. Notable features of the concept include a quad DRL setup adorned with the GS logo, which is expected to transition into the main headlamp assembly in the production model. The motorcycle exhibits a robust and aggressive aesthetic, highlighted by golden USD forks, a 6.5-inch TFT display, and cross-spoke wheels. The concept appeared nearly production-ready, suggesting minimal alterations in the final version.
Powering the F 450 GS is a newly developed 450cc parallel-twin engine, delivering an estimated 48 horsepower. The motorcycle is expected to weigh approximately 175 kilograms, offering a balance of performance and agility. The twin-cylinder configuration aims to provide exceptional refinement and facilitate comfortable high-speed cruising. This engine marks a new addition to BMW’s lineup and may serve as a foundation for future models.
Designed for off-road and touring enthusiasts, the F 450 GS is equipped with long-travel suspension to handle diverse terrains effectively. It rides on a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, both fitted with disc brakes. The motorcycle is anticipated to feature advanced electronic aids, including off-road ABS, multiple riding modes, and a traction control system, enhancing rider safety and versatility.
