Citroën has introduced the Basalt Dark Edition, a special variant of its sub-4m coupe SUV, offering distinctive styling cues and exclusive features that set it apart from the standard Basalt model.
Exterior Enhancements
- Exclusive Paint: The Dark Edition is available in a unique Perla Nera black shade, not offered on the regular Basalt.
- Dark Chrome Accents: Exterior elements, including the Citroën badging and grille details, are finished in dark chrome, replacing the standard chrome accents.
- Gloss Black Bumpers: The bumpers receive a gloss black finish, enhancing the SUV’s bold appearance.
- ‘Dark Edition’ Badging: Distinctive badges are placed on the front doors and boot lid to signify this special edition.
- Alloy Wheels: Both the Dark Edition and regular Basalt feature dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels.
Interior Upgrades
- All-Black Cabin: The interior adopts an all-black theme, contrasting with the dual-tone white and black interior of the standard model.
- Black Leatherette Seats: Seats are upholstered in black leatherette, featuring red stitching and ‘Dark Edition’ embroidery on the headrests.
- Dashboard Accents: Red stitching extends to the dashboard, replacing the silver accents found in the regular Basalt.

- Engine: The Dark Edition is exclusively powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 110 PS.
- Transmission Options: Available with a 6-speed manual (190 Nm torque) or a 6-speed torque converter automatic (205 Nm torque).
- Fuel Efficiency: The manual variant offers 19.5 kmpl, while the automatic provides 18.7 kmpl.
