Kia Carnival Hi Limousine displayed at Auto Expo 2025
At the Auto Expo 2025, Kia unveiled the Carnival Hi Limousine, a luxurious iteration of its popular MPV, marking its debut in the Indian market. This model is designed to cater to chauffeur-driven customers seeking enhanced comfort and premium features.
Design and Features
Designed for practicality and comfort, the Carnival Hi Limousine retains the Carnival’s elegant styling while adding a significant height advantage. This provides ample headroom and a more spacious cabin. The vehicle’s exterior features chrome accents, distinctive LED lighting, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Side steps ensure easy entry and exit for all passengers.
The Hi Limousine prioritizes rear-passenger luxury with a four-seat configuration. Two premium captain’s chairs, upholstered in quilted Nappa leather, feature extensive electric adjustments including leg support and fold-out tables. A touchscreen remote controls seat settings, climate, lighting, and curtains. A 21.5-inch roof-mounted LED TV provides entertainment.
Performance and Safety
The Hi Limousine is powered by a 3.5-liter Smartstream V6 petrol engine producing 290 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The suspension is tuned for a refined ride, complementing its luxury focus. Safety features include eight airbags, a 360-degree camera system, Level 2 ADAS (front collision warning, lane-keeping assist), parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring, and speed-sensing auto door locks.
Kia showcased the Carnival Hi Limousine at Auto Expo 2025 to gauge Indian customer interest. While an official launch is yet to be confirmed, the unveiling signals Kia’s intent to expand its Indian portfolio with luxury-oriented vehicles like the Hi Limousine, catering to evolving customer demands.
