Lamborghini Temerario to Debut in India on April 30
Lamborghini has officially confirmed that its all-new Temerario supercar will make its India debut on April 30, 2025—much earlier than previously expected. This upcoming model will replace the iconic Huracán and marks a significant step forward with a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Performance and Powertrain Details
At the heart of the Temerario is a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine coupled with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 920hp and 800Nm of torque. The V8 alone produces 800hp and 730Nm, and can rev all the way up to 10,000rpm, giving the car a high-revving and thrilling character.
With this setup, Lamborghini claims the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and hit a top speed of 343 km/h—placing it among the fastest cars on the road.
The hybrid system is powered by a 3.8kWh battery, which supports plug-in charging and regenerative braking. The battery can be fully recharged in 30 minutes using a 7kW AC charger, and it can also be charged while driving via the petrol engine.
Design and Aerodynamics
The Temerario’s styling builds upon the Huracán’s legacy, yet introduces a sharper and more futuristic appearance:
- It features a low-profile shark-nose front, an aero-optimized front splitter, and slim LED headlights with signature hexagonal DRLs.
- This hexagon-inspired design extends to the tail lamps, side mirrors, exhaust tips, and even the fuel cap, creating a consistent theme.
- The roofline and bodywork are sculpted for better aerodynamics.
- Wheel options include 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, available in both forged aluminum and carbon fiber.
The car is underpinned by a new all-aluminum chassis, which offers 20% more torsional rigidity compared to the Huracán’s mixed-material frame. This upgrade is expected to greatly improve handling and structural stability.
Interior Tech and Cabin Design
Inside, the Temerario is just as futuristic as its exterior. It features three digital displays that deliver essential driving data and control functions to both driver and passenger. The interior combines high-end materials with cutting-edge tech, staying true to Lamborghini’s sporty yet luxurious DNA.
Positioning and Expectations
The Temerario marks a new era for Lamborghini in India—pairing breathtaking performance with sustainability through hybrid technology. Its early launch signals Lamborghini’s intent to stay at the forefront of innovation in the Indian supercar scene, offering something that blends extreme power, sleek design, and advanced features in one aggressive package.
