Lamborghini Temerario launched at Rs 6 crore

Lamborghini has officially launched its latest high-performance plug-in hybrid supercar, the Temerario, in India. This model is a direct successor to the Huracán and comes with a starting price of around ₹6 crore (ex-showroom). The global unveiling took place in August 2024, and it entered the Indian market on April 30, 2025.
⚙️ Powertrain and Performance
Under the hood, the Temerario features a newly developed 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 789 bhp and 729 Nm of torque. This is enhanced by a trio of electric motors—two positioned at the front and one integrated with the transmission—contributing an additional 148 bhp and 300 Nm. Combined, the hybrid system delivers a staggering 920 bhp.
- 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds
- Top speed of 343 km/h
- Powered by a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery
- Charging time: 30 minutes with a 7 kW AC charger
🧠 Driving Modes and Technology
The Temerario is equipped with advanced driving dynamics and multiple modes tailored for different driving styles:
- Citta: Electric-only mode for city driving
- Strada: Balanced mode for everyday performance
- Corsa: Optimized for track performance
- Drift: Rear-wheel-drive mode, a first for Lamborghini
It also comes with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and torque vectoring for enhanced control. High-performance brakes (410 mm front, 390 mm rear) help bring the car to a halt from 100 km/h in just 32 meters.
🛠️ Chassis and Build
Unlike the carbon-fibre-heavy Huracán, the Temerario is built on a lightweight aluminium spaceframe. This results in:
- 20% more torsional rigidity
- A dry weight of 1,690 kg
- Optional Alleggerita package to further reduce weight and add carbon-fibre components
🎨 Exterior Design
The Temerario stays true to Lamborghini’s bold and aggressive design language with:
- Sleek LED headlights
- Hexagonal daytime running lights
- Central exhaust flanked by hexagonal LED tail lamps
The design reflects a mix of influences from both the Huracán and Revuelto, with a strong focus on aerodynamics and sharp lines.
🛋️ Interior and Feature
The cabin is inspired by fighter jet cockpits, featuring a digital-heavy and driver-focused layout:
- 12.3-inch digital instrument display
- 8.4-inch central touchscreen
- 9.1-inch passenger display
Interior space has been improved over the Huracán, comfortably accommodating drivers up to 6’5″. Premium features include:
- Heated and ventilated 18-way adjustable seats
- AR-based navigation
- Built-in dashcam and telemetry system
