
Mahindra XEV 7E to be showcased at Auto Expo 2025

Mahindra after recently launching the its two electric car BE 6e and XEV 9e has filed a trademark for another SUV under name ‘XEV 7e’ that is expected to be showcased at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Show which is slated to held in January, 2025. The XEV 7e is expected to be the EV version of XUV 700 and according to the spy images making round on the internet suggests that the XEV 7e will be the trademark name of Mahindra’s earlier prototype XUV e8.
The recently filed trademark of an all electric XUV 700 EV has led to the rumor’s that the vehicle could be named XEV7e and launched soon. The XEV 7e would be a fully EV version of the XUV 700 with visible changes that would be based on the appearance of the XEV 9e. As per the leaked images it has become clear that the interior of the vehicle would be similar to that of the XEV 9e.

In terms of features as seen in the leaked images, the new XEV 7e will get a Panoramic sunroof, shark fin antenna, 3 screen setup similar to the one seen on XEV 9e, dual-tone two-spoke steering wheel with steering mounted controls, EPB, TPMS, powered front seats with memory function, powered tailgate, driving modes and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

While technical specifications are still unknown, it is safe to assume that the XEV 7e will be available with the same battery pack options as the BE 6e and XEV 9e, namely 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs paired with single or dual electric motor setups, single motor for 2WD and dual motor for 4WD. These battery systems have power outputs of up to 282 horsepower and ranges of 450-500 km on a single charge in real world conditions.
