Jan 15, 2025

Porsche is set to make a bold statement at the Auto Expo 2025 with an impressive array of vehicles, featuring both internal combustion engine (ICE) models and electric vehicles. While part of the lineup will include familiar offerings from its current portfolio in India, the event will also mark the debut of several new models. Interestingly, Porsche will stand out as the sole sportscar manufacturer at the expo. Here’s a closer look at what the iconic German brand has in store.

Porsche Macan Turbo Electric :

Porsche will debut the all-electric Macan EV at the Auto Expo 2025 in New Delhi, marking its official entry into the Indian market. Priced between ₹1.22 crore and ₹1.69 crore (ex-showroom), the Macan EV will be available in three variants:

  • Macan RWD: Features a 360hp rear electric motor.
  • Macan 4: A dual-motor setup producing 408hp.
  • Macan Turbo: Offers 639hp and 1,130Nm of torque.

All variants come equipped with a 100kWh battery, delivering a WLTP-certified range of up to 641km.

The Macan EV departs from its predecessor’s design, drawing inspiration from the Taycan. Its cabin design aligns with the current Cayenne, featuring a modern three-screen setup spanning the dashboard.

The Turbo variant stands out with Launch Control, offering an exhilarating performance experience. Fast charging up to 270kW allows the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately 21 minutes.

This launch reflects Porsche’s commitment to bringing cutting-edge electric performance and luxury to India, offering sustainable mobility without compromising on style or driving dynamics.

Porsche Taycan facelift :

Porsche will present the updated Taycan facelift at the Auto Expo 2025, emphasizing upgrades that are primarily beneath the surface. Key details include:

  • Performance Enhancements: All Taycan variants now feature lighter electric motors and revised internals, offering increased power output. The power ranges from 517hp for the Taycan 4S to 707hp for the Turbo variant.
  • New Battery: The facelift introduces a new battery with revised cell chemistry, enhancing efficiency and performance.
  • Improved Range: The updated Taycan offers a WLTP-certified range of up to 678 km, making it more practical for long drives.
  • Subtle Design Changes: While exterior updates are minimal, the Taycan retains its sleek design, with changes focused on improving functionality and efficiency.

These updates make the Taycan facelift more powerful and efficient, further solidifying Porsche’s position in the luxury EV market.

Porsche will unveil the 2025 911 Carrera GTS Hybrid at the Auto Expo 2025, showcasing its first street-legal hybrid 911. Key features include:

  • Hybrid Powertrain: Combines a 3.6-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor, producing 541 BHP and 610 Nm of torque.
