
Ola Electric Generation 3 Launched: What’s New?

Ola, India’s top electric scooter maker, has launched its newest scooters. It’s the Gen-3 platform, which is a big improvement over their Gen-2 scooters that came out about a year and a half ago. Ola will still sell the older Gen-2 models, but at lower prices.

New and Improved Features for Ola Scooters:
- Better Motor: All Ola scooters now have a motor in the middle of the scooter (mid-mounted) and use a chain to drive the wheels. This new chain is specially lubricated to be more efficient and quieter.
- Safer Brakes: The Ola S1 Pro+ now has better brakes (dual-channel ABS) that help prevent wheel lockup during hard braking, making it safer.
- Simplified Electronics: Ola has simplified the scooter’s electronics. Instead of three circuit boards, they now use just one. This makes the scooter more reliable, performs better, and costs less to make.
- Overall: The latest Ola scooters have some great improvements in features and performance.
