TATA.ev Powers India’s EV Journey with First 10 MegaChargers Across Key Corridors
As India rapidly embraces electric mobility, one of the biggest challenges has been range anxiety—the fear of running out of charge without finding a nearby charging station. TATA.ev is tackling this head-on with its MegaCharger network, a flagship initiative under its Open Collaboration framework. By working with CPOs and Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs), TATA.ev is accelerating the creation of a high-speed, highly reliable charging infrastructure.

What Makes a MegaCharger ‘Mega’?
Each TATA.ev MegaCharger site is thoughtfully chosen and strategically placed, offering more than just a power boost:
- Ultra-fast charging starting at 120 kW, with some hubs (like Vadodara) reaching up to 400 kW, enabling up to 150 km of range in just 15 minutes.
- Discounted tariffs (up to 25% off) and priority access for TATA.ev customers.
- 24×7 customer support, real-time monitoring, and manned assistance at select locations.
- Access to all partner chargers via the iRA.ev app.
- Premium amenities at each site, including restrooms, food courts, lounges, and co-working spaces.
