Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the Scrambler 400 XC in India at an ex-showroom price of ₹2,94,147 (Delhi). This new version builds upon the base Scrambler 400 X, featuring added equipment and upgrades tailored for better off-road performance.
Notable Features and Upgrades
- Cross-Spoke Tubeless Wheels: The Scrambler 400 XC gets 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cross-spoke tubeless wheels, making them more durable and easier to maintain than regular alloy wheels.
- Enhanced Off-Road Equipment: Key additions include a high-mounted front fender, flyscreen, adjustable clutch and brake levers, a sturdy aluminum sump guard, engine crash protection, and grab rails similar to the ones on the Speed 400.
- Increased Weight: With the new hardware, the bike weighs 190 kg, which is 5 kg heavier than the regular Scrambler 400 X.
- Color Options: It is offered in three color variants – Racing Yellow, Storm Grey, and Vanilla White.
Engine & Mechanical Details
- The bike continues to use the 398cc single-cylinder engine, generating 39.5 hp and 37.5 Nm of torque.
- It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
