TVS Apache RTX 300 Adventure Bike Launch Details
TVS Motor Company is gearing up to enter the adventure motorcycle segment in India with the upcoming launch of the Apache RTX 300. This move signifies a significant expansion for the Hosur-based manufacturer, traditionally known for its commuter and sport motorcycles.
Development and Unveiling
The first indications of the Apache RTX 300 emerged last year when prototype images surfaced, sparking interest among motorcycle enthusiasts. The anticipation grew earlier this year when TVS briefly showcased a production-ready model at the Bharat Mobility Expo. However, the bike was subsequently withdrawn from display, leading to speculation about its final specifications and launch timeline.
Launch Timeline
TVS has now confirmed plans to launch the Apache RTX 300 during the Indian festive season, between August and September 2025. Initially, the company will introduce a touring variant, with a full-fledged adventure model expected to follow at a later stage.
Engine and Performance
At the heart of the Apache RTX 300 is a 299cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, designated by TVS as the RTX D4. This engine was previously showcased at Moto Soul 2024 in Goa. The powerplant delivers 34.5 horsepower at 9,000 RPM and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 RPM, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The front end boasts a dual-headlamp setup and an adventure-style beak. The bike rides on a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, offering a balance between off-road capability and on-road stability.
Pricing and Competition
In terms of pricing, the Apache RTX 300 is expected to be positioned between Rs. 2.6 lakh and Rs. 2.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
