
Kia India Achieves Remarkable 23.8% YoY Growth in February 2025
Kia India continues to strengthen its foothold in the Indian automobile market, posting an impressive 23.8% year-on-year (YoY) sales growth in February 2025. The company reported total sales of 25,026 units, a significant increase from the 20,200 units sold in the same month last year. This growth trajectory underscores Kia India’s commitment to innovation and quality, ensuring sustained customer demand.
Strong Demand for Kia Syros and Bestselling Models
The newly launched Kia Syros has quickly become a favorite among Indian consumers, registering robust sales of 5,425 units in February. With over 20,000 bookings already recorded, the model continues to gain traction in the market. Kia’s best-selling models, the Sonet and Seltos, also played a crucial role in the company’s success, contributing 7,598 and 6,446 units, respectively. Additionally, the Kia Carens remained a strong performer with 5,318 units sold, while the premium Carnival Limousine catered to luxury car buyers with 239 units sold.
Expanding Global Reach
Kia India is also expanding its footprint in the global market, exporting 2,042 units of its ‘Made in India’ vehicles to over 70 international destinations. This highlights the company’s dedication to delivering high-quality automobiles that meet the diverse needs of consumers worldwide.

Kia India entered the Indian market in April 2017, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State Government of Andhra Pradesh to establish a manufacturing facility in Anantapur.
