Lamborghini Demand All Time High In India – Sold Out Till 2027

Mar 23, 2025

Lamborghini is experiencing unprecedented demand in India, with its supercars sold out until 2027. The brand offers models like the Huracan, Urus, and Revuelto, priced between ₹4 crore and ₹8.89 crore, excluding taxes and duties. These vehicles are imported as completely built units, attracting a 100% customs duty.

In 2024, Lamborghini achieved record sales in India, delivering 113 units—a 10% increase from the previous year and the first time the brand surpassed the three-digit sales mark in the country. The Urus SUV emerged as the top-selling model, accounting for 50% of total sales, with orders booked for the next 18 months. The average age of Lamborghini buyers in India is under 40, making it the brand’s youngest customer base globally after China.

To meet the growing demand, Lamborghini is considering expanding its presence in India by adding a fourth showroom. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, emphasized India’s significance, stating, “India, for us, is an asset. There is a huge potential for the future.”

Similarly, Mercedes-Maybach has experienced substantial growth in India, achieving a 145% increase in sales in 2024 by selling 500 super-luxury cars. The brand views India as a potential top-five market, reflecting the country’s expanding appetite for luxury vehicles.

Despite these impressive figures, luxury cars constitute only about 1% of India’s annual vehicle market, which totals 4 million units. This indicates significant potential for further growth in the luxury automobile segment.
