Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge Revealed
Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Spectre Black Badge, a high-performance variant of its first all-electric vehicle, the Spectre. This model stands as the most powerful car in the brand’s history, delivering enhanced performance and distinctive design elements.
Performance Enhancements
The Spectre Black Badge is equipped with a 102kWh battery, similar to the standard Spectre, but features a new ‘Infinity Mode’ that boosts its output to 659 horsepower and 1,075Nm of torque. This represents an increase of 82hp and 175Nm over the base model. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and offers a driving range between 493 to 530 kilometers. To accommodate the increased power, modifications have been made to the chassis, steering, and roll stabilization systems, ensuring enhanced performance without compromising ride comfort.
Design and Features
The Spectre Black Badge introduces a new exterior paint option called Vapour Violet and comes with 23-inch forged aluminum wheels. In line with the Black Badge series’ signature aesthetic, the Spirit of Ecstasy emblem and front grille are finished in black. Customers have the option to choose from up to 44,000 exterior colors.
Inside, the vehicle features an illuminated grille with up to five color options, unique treadplates, and the ‘Illuminated Fascia’—a dashboard embedded with over 5,500 illuminated stars. The cabin also offers multiple color choices for the driver’s display, with finishes in carbon fiber or metal for various interior elements.
Availability and Pricing
Given that Rolls-Royce currently offers Black Badge versions of the Cullinan and Ghost models in India, it’s anticipated that the Spectre Black Badge will also be launched in the Indian market. The expected price is approximately ₹9.2 crore (before options), which represents an average premium of ₹1.6 crore over the standard Spectre model.
