Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Limited Edition SOLD In Seconds!

Royal Enfield recently introduced the Shotgun 650 Limited Edition in collaboration with Icon Motosports, offering only 100 units worldwide, with 25 allocated to India. Priced at ₹4,25,000 (ex-showroom), which is ₹65,000 more than the standard entry-level model, the motorcycle’s purchase window opened on February 12 at 8:30 PM via Royal Enfield’s application and sold out within seconds. Prospective buyers received a message stating, “The Legacy of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition has come to an end. Thank you for participating in the sale.”
The Shotgun 650 Limited Edition features a distinctive triple-tone paint scheme inspired by the custom café racer built by Icon Motosports, first showcased at EICMA 2024. Enhancements include a red seat embossed with the Royal Enfield logo, blue shock absorbers, bar-end mirrors, and gold-colored wheels, giving the bike a sporty appearance. Additionally, owners receive an exclusive ‘Slabtown Intercept’ jacket matching the motorcycle’s color scheme.
Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged, powered by a 648cc parallel-twin, air-cooled engine producing 47PS and 52.3Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. It features an inverted telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers for suspension, with braking handled by a 320mm front disc and a 300mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle rides on an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup with tubeless tires and includes a semi-digital instrument cluster, a tripper-navigation pod, and a USB charging port.
This rapid sell-out mirrors previous instances, such as the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Pegasus Edition, which was limited to 1,000 units globally and sold out in minutes, highlighting the strong demand for Royal Enfield’s limited edition models.
