TVS Jupiter 110 Launched with OBD2B compliance

TVS Motor Company has updated its Jupiter 110 scooter to comply with the latest OBD2B emission standards, ahead of the April 1 deadline. This move aligns the Jupiter 110 with current environmental regulations, ensuring reduced emissions and enhanced performance.
Key Updates:
- OBD2B Compliance: The On-Board Diagnostics Stage 2B (OBD2B) system enables real-time monitoring of emission levels, allowing for immediate detection and correction of any deviations.
- Integrated Starter Generator (ISG): The Jupiter 110 now features an ISG, providing a slight electric boost during acceleration. This technology, previously seen in 125cc Yamaha scooters and the FZ-S commuter bike, enhances fuel efficiency and offers smoother acceleration.
Pricing:
The TVS Jupiter 110 is available in four variants, with prices ranging from ₹76,691 to ₹89,791 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Future Plans:
TVS plans to update its entire vehicle lineup, including models like the Raider, Apache, and NTorq, to meet OBD2B standards by the end of March 2025, ensuring compliance across its portfolio.
These updates underscore TVS’s commitment to environmental sustainability and adherence to stringent emission norms, providing customers with eco-friendly and efficient mobility solutions.
