Jaipur-based startup BattRE Electric Mobility has introduced the LOEV Plus, a high-speed electric scooter tailored for urban commuting. Priced at Rs 69,999 (ex-showroom Delhi), the LOEV Plus offers a blend of performance, design, and features, positioning it as a competitor to models like the Okinawa Ridge Plus and the Ola S1X.
Design
The LOEV Plus boasts a sporty aesthetic characterized by sharp lines and a split LED headlight mounted on the apron. The handlebar cowl integrates a sleek DRL, enhancing its modern look. Available in five colors—Starlight Blue, Stormy Grey, Ice Blue, Midnight Black, and Pearl White—the scooter aims to cater to diverse style preferences.
Performance
Equipped with a 2kWh battery pack from Amaron and a 13-amp charger, both IP-67 rated for water and dust resistance, the LOEV Plus ensures durability. The company provides a 3-year warranty on both the battery and charger. The scooter supports fast charging, achieving a full charge in approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes. Riders can select from three modes:
- Eco Mode: Prioritizes maximum efficiency with a claimed range of 90km and a top speed of 35km/h.
- Comfort Mode: Balances performance and efficiency, offering a 75km range and a 45km/h top speed.
- Sport Mode: Delivers peak performance with a 60km range and a top speed of 60km/h.
Design
The LOEV Plus features a telescopic front fork and a rear monoshock for suspension duties. Braking is managed by disc brakes on both the front and rear, complemented by a combined braking system for enhanced safety. With a ground clearance of 180mm and 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends, the scooter is designed to handle urban terrains effectively.
