Hero HF 100 Gets OBD-2B Update, Now Priced at ₹60,118

Hero MotoCorp has rolled out an updated version of its budget-friendly commuter bike, the HF 100, which now meets the latest OBD-2B (On-Board Diagnostics) emission standards. This regulatory update has slightly increased the bike’s price by ₹1,100, making its new ex-showroom price in Delhi ₹60,118.

Engine and Mechanical Details

The Hero HF 100 continues to be powered by the same 97.2cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It delivers 8.02hp and 8.05Nm of torque, coupled with a 4-speed transmission. Known for its fuel efficiency and durability, the engine remains mechanically unchanged apart from the new emission compliance.

Emission Norm Upgrade

The most notable change in this iteration is its conformity to the OBD-2B standards, which are part of stricter emission norms. There are no significant mechanical or performance enhancements beyond this compliance upgrade.

Design and Color Choices

In terms of appearance, the HF 100 retains its minimal and functional design. It is available in two dual-tone color schemes: black with blue accents and black with red graphics, preserving the bike’s simple and practical aesthetic.
