Revolt RV BlazeX Electric Motorcycle Launched In India
Revolt Motors has introduced a new electric motorcycle in India, the RV BlazeX, positioned between the RV400 BRZ and the RV400 in their lineup. Priced at ₹1,14,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the RV BlazeX offers a blend of performance and style.
Design
The RV BlazeX adopts a sporty commuter aesthetic, reminiscent of the Revolt RV1, but enhanced with dynamic graphics that impart a neo-retro appeal. It is available in two striking color combinations: Sterling Silver Black and Eclipse Red Black.
Battery, Charging, and Range
Equipped with a 3.24kWh removable battery pack, the RV BlazeX claims a range of 150 kilometers on a single charge. This battery powers a mid-mounted electric motor delivering a peak output of 4.1kW, enabling the motorcycle to reach a top speed of 85 km/h. For charging, the battery can achieve 0-80% capacity in 80 minutes using a fast charger, while a standard home charger accomplishes a full charge in approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Specs
The motorcycle’s suspension system comprises a conventional telescopic front fork and dual rear shock absorbers. Braking is managed by 240mm disc brakes on both the front and rear, supplemented by a combined braking system (CBS). The RV BlazeX rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, has a seat height of 790mm, ground clearance of 180mm, and a kerb weight of 118kg.
Features
The RV BlazeX is equipped with a 6-inch LCD instrument cluster that supports smartphone connectivity, offering features such as turn-by-turn navigation, geofencing, ride telemetry updates, and over-the-air updates. Additional features include three riding modes, a dedicated reverse mode, regenerative braking, and all-LED lighting.
Rivals and Delivery Dates
In the Indian market, the RV BlazeX deliveries scheduled to commence in the first week of March 2025.
