Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Twin name trademarked

Apr 27, 2025

Royal Enfield has officially trademarked the name “Bullet 650 Twin,” signaling the development of a new addition to its 650cc motorcycle lineup. This move indicates that the Bullet 650 Twin will be a distinct model, separate from the recently trademarked Classic 650 Twin, rather than a variant of it.

Design and Styling

The Bullet 650 Twin is expected to closely resemble its smaller sibling, the Bullet 350, maintaining the classic design elements that have become synonymous with the Bullet name. Anticipated features include a boxy rear fender, a single-piece seat, and hand-painted pinstripes, all of which contribute to its retro aesthetic.

Engine and Performance

Mechanically, the Bullet 650 Twin is likely to share its platform with the Classic 650, utilizing Royal Enfield’s 648cc twin-cylinder engine. This engine is known to produce 47 horsepower and 52.3Nm of torque, as seen in other models like the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.

Expected Launch and Pricing

While an official launch date has not been announced, the trademark filing suggests that the Bullet 650 Twin could debut in the near future. Given that the Classic 650 is priced between ₹3.37 lakh and ₹3.50 lakh, the Bullet 650 Twin is expected to be positioned slightly below this range, continuing the Bullet’s tradition of being a more accessible option in Royal Enfield’s lineup.

With the introduction of the Bullet 650 Twin, Royal Enfield aims to expand its 650cc portfolio, offering riders a blend of classic design and modern performance.
