BYD Updates 2025 Seal and Atto 3 with Enhanced Features and Technology

BYD has introduced significant updates to its 2025 models of the Seal electric sedan and the Atto 3 electric SUV in India, focusing on improved comfort, technology, and performance.

2025 BYD Seal: Enhanced Comfort and Suspension

The 2025 BYD Seal has received several upgrades:

Comfort Features: All variants now come with a powered sunshade, previously an optional accessory, to reduce cabin heat during sunny conditions. Additionally, an improved air conditioning and purification system has been installed to enhance in-cabin comfort.
Technology: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard across all variants, providing seamless smartphone integration.
Suspension Upgrades: Premium Variant: Equipped with Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) for improved ride comfort and handling. Performance Variant: Features the DiSus-C intelligent damping system, which adjusts suspension settings in real-time based on road conditions and driving inputs.
Battery Improvement: The Seal now utilizes a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery, which is six times lighter than traditional lead-acid batteries and offers a lifespan of up to 15 years.

Bookings for the 2025 BYD Seal commenced on March 11, 2025, with a deposit of ₹1.25 lakh. Pricing for all variants was announced in April 2025.

2025 BYD Atto 3: Interior and Battery Enhancements

The Atto 3 electric SUV has also been updated:

Interior Upgrades: The cabin now features an all-black interior theme, replacing the previous three-tone design. Ventilated front seats have been added for increased comfort.
Battery Upgrade: Similar to the Seal, the Atto 3 now uses a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery, offering benefits such as reduced weight and extended lifespan.

To celebrate the model’s anniversary, BYD is offering the first 3,000 customers of the 2025 Atto 3 the opportunity to purchase it at 2024 ex-showroom prices. The Dynamic variant (49.92kWh battery) starts at ₹24.99 lakh, while the Superior variant (60.48kWh battery) is priced at ₹33.99 lakh. Bookings are open with a token amount of ₹30,000.
